Our company, a leading International Footwear brand is looking to hire Assistant Managers

Assists the manager in all activities necessary to the efficient Operation of the store, more particularly, providing prompt and courteous service to customers in order to maximize sales and customer service so as to promote the Company’s image of quality and professionalism.

Experience in management position within retail or similar area
Must be, above all, an independent and self-motivated professional, friendly and approachable
Strong leadership skills in order to motivate and guide staff to perform to the best of their abilities
Strong sales skills with the desire to make sales in order to ensure the success of the store and to meet targets
Possess a culture of learning in order to improve both their own skills as well as the overall performance of the store
Fluent and well spoken English, and an additional language is beneficial
Be an ambassador for the brand.

Always willing to assist customers, superiors and Co-workers.
Set an example for employees
Management of the store’s daily administrative and maintenance tasks
Ensures availability of merchandise; maintaining inventories
Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
Adhering to head-office requirements and policies
Leading staff in meeting sales targets
Building an ethos of customer service and superior service providing
Dealing with customer queries and requests in a timely professional manner
Building a rapport with customers and service providers
Provide a good in-store experience for the customer through 1st priority to customer service.

Basic salary plus individual and store commission made on store performance
