A well-established Façade company in the UK specialising in facades of skyscrapers and other large buildings are moving their operations to Paphos and are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Buyer based in Paphos. The successful candidate will have experience in buying within the construction industry and be fluent in English and Greek. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation of pricing summaries and cost analysis with the MD in an electronic excel format and help controlling the supply chain network and partners with the view to procuring services and products.
• Help in the control, co-ordination and filing of all correspondences and documents associated with the company business relating to buying and procurement in Cyprus.
• Daily liaison and interaction with our other team members, associates and clients as required under the direction and control of the MD.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeeping of the company supply chain and its development and expansion.
• Help produce purchasing enquiries and reports relating to tenders provided by Clients.
• Occasionally assisting our Company Secretary with document preparation to send out to suppliers.
• Produce and issue purchase orders to trade suppliers.
• Attending business meetings in the office to record minutes and occasionally at business seminars/functions externally at the request of the MD and strictly within the agreed hours of employment in order to help promote the company business.
• Should there be a necessity to work an additional hour in the business this is not compulsory, but an agreed overtime payment rate will be agreed in advance.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Proven experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience buying side
• Experience with Facades
• Fluent in English and Greek
