On behalf of our client, GRS are seeking to recruit an Accountant for an established Forex Broker in Limassol. The successful candidate must have previous experience an accounting role with strong experience in bookkeeping. Ideal experience in the FX industry and interaction with PSP’s will be a major advantage. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the eager to grow and develop within a company.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement accounting records of day to day financial transactions based on accounting policies and standards
• Provide accurate, timely and relevant recording/reporting of financial information
• Examining bank statements and reconcile with general ledger entries.
• Reconciliation of payable and receivable accounts
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Preparation of financial reports and management accounts
• Preparation of daily bank balances
• Timely bank payments
• Maintaining historical records based on Company’s documentation archiving processes

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in an Accounting role preferably from the Forex/Financial Services industry
• Proven bookkeeping experience for at least 2-5 years
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Previous experience with Payment Provider (PSP’s) will be considered as an advantage
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of SAP and/or NetSuite will be considered as an advantage
• Background with currency/crypto exchanges will be considered as an advantage
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Basic Knowledge of VAT and Tax regulations
