Marketing Officer – Shipping – Limassol – Ref#332

On behalf of our Client, an established and reputable shipping company in Limassol, GRS are currently seeking to recruit a Marketing Officer. The successful candidate will be a University graduate in Marketing/Public Relations or related field, have 2-5 years relevant experience and who will be conducting and monitoring marketing activities and must therefore be a creative, dynamic, and forward-thinking individual with strong knowledge of Social Media. This is an ideal opportunity to work with in a professional and friendly environment in such a flourishing sector.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dealing with and monitoring Social Media and other communication activities.
• Dealing with and monitoring homepages and portals.
• Dealing with and preparing company brochures, company magazines, news bulletins, articles, and press releases as well as company presentations.
• Dealing with event organization.
• Dealing with and preparing media and conference plans.
• Maintaining the electronic marketing group filing system and/or marketing software.
• Sourcing the market for potential clients and potential new markets.
• Conducting market research.
• Any other projects/tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager and or Marketing Director.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University graduate in Marketing/Public Relations or related field.
• 2-5 years previous experience.
• Good knowledge of shipping industry would be considered a plus.
• Good communication skills and an ability to work within a team.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
